Connecting channel on Jalan Narada, Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta was dredged by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management.
Mud thickness is 50-70 cm
Head Section of Maintenance for the agency, Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, admitted the dredging has been started since Thursday (4/7) ago. More than 1,200 mud sacks have been transported.
“Dredging must be carried out since channel is already full with mud and trash. Mud thickness is 50-70 cm,” he said, Friday (4/22).
Kebon Bawang Freelancers Focus on Cleaning Three RoadsAs many as 22 personnel are deployed cleaning channel. It is hoped to be complete this month.
“We also prepare two dump trucks to transport trash and mud,” he closed.
